after the death of star football-player shay ward, a gloomy spirit has taken a hold of the small town of brookeside. all that's left is an intense high school scene and reoccurring disappearances that have an eerie similarity to the one of shay ward. what most of the town doesn't know is that head cheerleader, ophelia martin, is the person behind these mysteries. a man-eating demon, ophelia stays on the frontlines of every investigation to avoid suspicion, but has managed to catch the curious eye of her most recent victim's brother, derek ward; and part of her knows that her peaceful string of brutal murders is about to come to an end because of that. if it's not derek stopping her, it'll be the mob of angry townspeople after they figure it out themselves.
