PROLOGUE

Lou has been in love with her favorite fiction character, Vincent Watts, since she read the "Moonlight" trilogy for the first time as a teenager. It was in him she used to find comfort when life got complicated. But now she was an adult, and she wasn't sure if Vince could help her grow up anymore.
That's when he appears, in bone and flesh, right in front of her eyes on a cold August evening, turning all of her fan stories into reality.
