Prologue

Basil Kar is a killer. A former member of the order of the Black Fox, Kar is one of the most skilled fighters in all of Ishar. However, after being exiled to the land of rain Mabul, the land of perpetual rain, Kar accidentally finds himself betrothed to Mena. The daughter of the recently deceased Chieftan of Mil. After learning that Mena's father was murdered Kar decides to play along long enough to help the young princess find her father's killer.
