Chapter One

Vacant souls are lives without meaning, without an ultimate concern. This, alongside many more typical fictitious elements, is what high schooler Hugh McKenna is worried about. His soul being vacant and meaningless. His friends don't know this, and Hugh isn't sure he wants them to know. Then again, things really change when your best friend disapears. Especially when he had something to tell you.
