"The concept behind the picture that the lyrics paint was inspired by the uneasy reunions and connections of the past. Sometimes they should just be left there. People change with time, but 'some' people tend to forget that 'other' people can change more than they do. Therefore, the 'some' people have a closer link to their past more so than the 'other' people. It's a 'deadly' combination and should not be attempted to be 'mixed' into any 'cocktail' of life which attempts to marry certain aspects of past ingredients with the present, therefore leaving a sour taste for the future. A considerably blurred viewpoint can cause an annoying mist on your 'windows of existence' if you allow it too, it's a 'cargo' one can certainly do without...and it carries its own 'crime'.
