When Theo Fraser and his friends realize that the curse of the witch is still cast upon his sister, the group turns to their last resort, C. Berman and M. Thatcher, the only Shadyside survivors of the Nightwing Massacre. As M. Thatcher responds with radio silence, the group resorts to C. Berman who gives them a call back.

After the group tracks down Berman, she tells them the story of how the massacre occurred and all that she knows about the witches curse, and even tells the group more about M. Thatcher, Shadyside's other survivor who was no where to be found.

What all happens in C. Berman's story and how can this all connect?
