Alina has known since she was young that her soulmate was centuries older than her, had been known by many different names but she always knew one thing for sure he was the Darkling. The only one in Ravka, the only one that had ever been in Ravka. So she prepared for the one day she would meet him knowing that she would always be so much younger & less experienced than him.
