Description
Siriondil of Mithlond is sent by Master Elrond to Tharbad, a small Númenórean logging town in southern Eriador. Hoping to resolve his business quickly, instead he becomes embroiled in the town's politics and crime. Lathron, brother of Amandil, has been arrested for the murder of Cardavor, the Governor's son. Amandil's estranged wife, Yávien hires Enthor to investigate the murder further. His inquiries will uncover a tangled net of corruption, deceit and dark secrets.
