When life throws you lemons, we're told to make lemonade.
Life had thrown a lot more than lemons at me. I had been lied to and deceived into believing in a reality that didn't exist. Who says that one person can suffer hundreds of battle scars, but another can walk away freely and unharmed? Life's scares us into the belief that no matter what we do, we will always be hurt. It's partially true, but that doesn't mean that we must spend our days neglecting a world that presents us with many opportunities.
When life throws you lemons, make lemonade.
