"Three challenges, two lovers, one winner. Let the games begin." Things have settled down at the Edge after Astrid's abduction. Hiccup and Astrid are courting like a normal Viking couple, and there is finally peace. Or so they thought... With Viggo out of the picture there's room for new villains to rise, powerful enemies with a single goal: destroy the "Dragon Master." With a target on his back Hiccup and the other Dragon Riders have to consider what matters the most to them, and how far they're willing to go to protect it.
