Prologue

She shouldn't be there. She shouldn't be seeing this. She tore her eyes from his exposed abdomen and took one step back.

The guy's eyes lifted. He saw her.
And then something out of the ordinary happened. She could feel his touch through their eyes. She couldn't bring herself to look away from him.

The girl in front of him seemed to disappear, the noise downstairs was nothing but a hollow echo from afar, and all there was in the hallway was him and her.....
