Detective Logan Rayner, a 24 year old woman from Chicago, Illinois has been in the Special Crimes Unit at the 31st district for a year and a half with her partner, Mark Fuller. One day when she gets called on a case that has to do with a truck filled with dead foreigners she gets reunited with her childhood friend, Lieutenant Kelly Severide from Firehouse 51. From that meet on, Kelly tries to figure out why she stopped talking to him for a year.
