As quickly as she learned that she developed an insatiable need to satisfy them, and the only way to do that is to become what they want her to be: a doctor. She is determined to not let anything get in the way of that happening, but when the star quarterback of her university risks those odds, she's marked him a spoiled, cocky asshole. Chase Rossi's only mindset since his brother's passing has been to go pro after college and be able to support his single mother. He is determined to make football his only priority during college and have no distractions, including girlfriends. But as the star football player and the most popular guy on campus, that doesn't mean meaningless hookups with girls lining up to get the chance. When a few too many drinks lead to a one-night stand and a complicated relationship, both Kennedy and Chase wonder if falling in love and risking losing everything they've worked for is a risk worth taking.
