You and Loki were both brainwashed to murder by Thanos, but not to work together. You didn't remember anything from the events, but Loki clearly did. Yet, he wasn't an ass to you like you felt like he should be. Perhaps you took pity on each other, or perhaps there was something more that neither of you dared to speak of.
