After Ethan died in Dimitrescu's castle, Miranda carried on with trying to bring her daughter back, which resulted in her death. Umbrella talked to the four Lords, striking a deal with them. They could only leave the village if the corporation asked them to join a mission, they could only be away for so long, since the Cadou affinity linked them to the place, they would provide for them too. When Umbrella cleared up Miranda's lair, they told the Lords to gather the information that was personal to them inside her lab, and that's when Heisenberg finds something unexpected hidden from the four Lords and Umbrella.
