Prologue

All her life, what mother said went. What she approved of was of standard, and what she didn't was unacceptable. Karen has spent her life living not only for the Lord but for her mother. Although most may not see it; she strived to be the good girl she is today, and it wasn't easy.

Now; her mother is gone. And with her is a piece of First Lady Sheard's heart. A hole that can't be filled, but with the help of a man.. it goes ignored. But what happens when that man isn't her husband?
