Description
Kyrie Wilson was nothing short of a troublemaker. After the sudden death of his beloved parents five months prior, his former personality of being well-behaved, respectful, and a hard worker took a huge 180. After constantly causing trouble, skipping class, and hanging out with the wrong crowd, he finds out from his high school drama teacher that he is no longer eligible to graduate for the 2019 school year. However, his teacher offers him a not-so-ideal solution- and that is having him participate in her drama club's production of "Destiny Of The Lovers", an overdramatic take on Romeo and Juliet that wants to make Kyrie gauge his eyes out. Since there was no other alternative for him to graduate, he reluctantly accepts to do so. Not wanting to have to go through it all alone, he persuades his best friend since the third grade, Lucas Bryant, to audition for a part. Surprisingly, as Kyrie is chosen to be the main character, Lucas gets the part as the understudy for the main FEMALE character. But when the girl in the leading role suddenly falls ill- it's up to Lucas to step in and take her place. After having to perform a kiss scene the day of the performance, Kyrie's feelings towards his best friend start to change. He no longer sees him as just a best friend but. . . as something more. A whirlwind of intense emotions, steamy nights, lies, secrets, heartbreak, and possibly even betrayal, Kyrie will be forced to face the toughest question: is falling in love with his best friend worth all the pain?
