Motoyasu is ordered to kill no other than Naofumi by Myne, who is hateful for how successful Naofumi is growing. Motoyasu doesn't hesitate to agree and begins his journey to assassinate the shield devil. Before long he finds Naofumi and is unable to kill him. This leads to a conflict with his feelings, and a special message to the king of Melromarc if he can't kill Naofumi.
