Chapter 1

Excerpt:

A young boy around my age came up from around the corner. He had short dark brown hair and was a few inches taller than me.

I stopped in the middle of my words. I looked at Sam and then back at the boy.

"Who's that?" I asked. An uneasy feeling tingled up my spine. Like how it felt when I was near the archangels or the Princes of Hell, when I was near someone powerful.
