Description
The story follows Elijah Nielsen, a parentless nineteen-year-old boy who is used to living alone and doing whatever he can to sustain himself. He is leading an apathetic life until his best friend Zachary introduces him to a group of rich people with questionable lives and histories filled with dark secrets. The sudden meeting upends Elijah's world. When Elijah discovers that he has to pay off his grandfather's debt, and one of the rich guys makes Elijah an offer he can't refuse, Elijah finds himself pulled in the storm of their lives that changes his from the core. Friendships will end, hearts will break, and Elijah is not the type to dwell on things, or at least he wasn't. How is Elijah going to go against the current that unpredictably came his way and is threatening to tear down the life he knew before? Will the world shatter for Elijah, or will Elijah shatter it himself?
