Ridley, a hermit residing in the middle of the Canadian wilderness has his peace broken when an armed, paranoid, and injured girl named Eris bursts in, attempting to escape the raging blizzard raging outside. Despite her wishes to keep moving, Eris' injuries force her to accept Ridley's repeated offers of hospitality, and so the two discuss how exactly she wound up in such a precarious place.
