This report will pay particular attention to the news trends since March 15th to April 30th 2021, when the country was reeling under heavy pandemic. In the second wave of COVID-19, India has lost 269 doctors so far while another 748 had died in the first wave itself. The second wave of the pandemic in the country has led to a short-term setback mostly affecting the blue-collar jobs and the gig or temporary workers especially in the retail, hospitality, and aviation and construction industry.
