-They all believed that he would return.- Despite the best efforts of those who oppose him, Zeus and most of his allies are free, and it is all thanks to a traitor amongst the ranks of the Titans. All attempts to find the traitor feeding Zeus information, though, lead to dead ends and disappointed frustration. While that is the worst part, though, it is not the only bad news floating around - the Celts are still homeless, dozens of dangerous Greek monsters are roaming the European countryside, and no one has any half-god heroes to spare. It is a depressing picture to paint, and more than just the mortal realm is in peril. If there are no heroes to spare, though...perhaps a king will do. Jasper Hodges is the youngest son of a normal, American family. He has normal friends, lives in a normal city in a normal apartment, and he works an only-slightly-less-than-normal job as a zookeeper. It is all perfectly normal for a normal person like him. Only, normal people do not have vivid, recurring dreams about medieval wars and legendary characters from works of fiction. Normal people do not go on vacation and encounter very not-normal things that make one need to reevaluate one's normal life. Normal people do not have to experience Seven Trials where failure could spell the end of everything one loves and more. At least he has two very attractive men and his perfectly-normal best friend to help him out, right? -They just never knew when.-
