A man named Everett is headed to his family's place out of state for Thanksgiving. However, his trip is halted when a huge dangerous thunderstorm hits the hotel he is staying at, and he is forced to stay inside.

But when he gains the company of a kind stranger, Everett begins to learn more about himself, and others. Will Everett make it to the event in time? Or will the attractive stranger keep him from waiting? Will he learn to love again?
