A Different Wind

This story is the alternate ending to the Kristin Hannah story The Four Winds. This story follows the Martinelli family as they flee from Texas to California during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. Single mom, Elsa works as a farm laborer to support her two children, Loreda and Anothony, "Ant" after being abandoned by her husband Rafe. In California, Elsa is paid poorly and soon joins a movement by the workers for better wages and working conditions.
