Koshoni was not sucked into a story. She clawed her way in.

She was not swept away, not stolen from her perfect life and friends and family. She planned and plotted, read and rode and forced her way into this world cruelty and circus.

But the tale she finds herself in now is quite different from the one she intended.

Natse is not a hero.
Soraya is not a saint.
Captain is not a paragon.

They are a rag tag band in a sinking ship. I can promise you one thing, however, dear reader. Koshoni and her crew will be legends.
