Prologue

The world is filled with magic including special tattoos. It is stressed in school, on the news, everywhere that you will have one power and two tattoos one to match your soulmate and your greatest enemy. In the century since the magic's sudden appearance this has always been true. What will they do when the greatest hero and most powerful villain are matched? What will they do when they find out they have only one tattoo and two powers? Will society accept them or destroy them?
