During the tyranny of the fanatic preacher of the Dominican Order Girolamo Savonarola over Firenze, Ezio and Dianora returned to their city after years of hunting the Templars in Venice. Their arrival put them to the test when they found the Vespucci palazzo burned and destroyed by the Piagnoni, the followers of Savonarola. There, Ezio finds his once beloved Cristina on the verge of dying. Can they save her on time? And if she survives, is it the end for Dianora and Ezio?
