By the book title you may think "this is going to be about a non popular girl who falls in love with some guy" well, you're not completely wrong but this story is definitely different. Lauretta Stockton, grew up being very popular, but after a nasty rumour that was spread around about her telling Antonio Freed to kill himself (which was not true at all) everyone chose to believe Antonio and she lost all of her friends, so her second last year of high school; grade 11, she has to try to be forgiven and be popular all over again, luckily one of her friends from the sixth grade softball team. Lucas Easton, moves to her school and becomes her best friend. soon she meets more friends, and a certain Lovina Hargrove. A shy, yet pretty well known girl at her school, will they talk and fall in love?. or will everything collapse all over again for Lauretta?
