Chapter 1: Punctuality

Peyton is happy with the life she made for herself: successful career, apartment in a big city, great friends.

At least that's what she would tell herself.

Never one to lean into the idea of everything happening for a reason, she prides herself on having control over every aspect of her life. Until he comes along and throws everything for a loop, leading Peyton to wonder if maybe there really is more to life beyond what she thinks she knows.
