Chapter 1

When we are young, our minds are susceptible to our environment: having excessive stress and responsibility when we are young can force us to grow up too fast, leading to a longing grievance of love and to feel like a little kid. Even when we are too old to be playing with toys, this hole in someone's heart can sometimes be too much to bear. Evie discovers this at her new boarding school, and begins to live an entirely different life to what she used to know.
