Description
Her red hair glistened as she combed it with her bare hands. She put on her black snapback and adjusted it. However painful it was for her to be looking at that cap, it was also astonishingly pleasing to be wearing it because that was the only thing that kept her so alive. It was the one thing that had her wish for a time machine. She took the necklace with the ring pendant that was dangling behind the closed door and wore it. Another tormenting object that was given to her but nevertheless very treasured. It was a reminder of his promise to her. She quickly looked at the clock plastered on her bedroom's wall and slipped on her black wedge sneakers. Before leaving, she took a glance at the girl wearing a plain dark blue sweatshirt matched with a black skinny jeans in the mirror, and softly whispered, "Best of luck, Jade Elizabeth Scott."
