Veya Jordan Anderson was just like any other 18 year old girl.......... Until her mom died and she and her sister Melanie were sent away to live with her dad that hasn't bothered to call since Veya was 7 and Melanie 6. They're only a year apart. She barley knew who this guys was.... yet she and her sister were put against their will to live with him. ~PREVIEW~ I was sitting on the couch doing my homework when my sister comes running into the living room. "Veya" she said with so much emotion it was killing me. "What's the matter Melanie." She frowns and a tear runs down her check. "Mom.....umm. My mother who cared for us when my father didn't. My mother who was a single mother who had a steady job as lawyer. I can't believe this. "Mel please tell me you're lying" I said as she shook her head. I pulled her into a tight hug and we stayed like that for what seems forever. My aunt came into the living room "Guess you guys heard the news huh?" we nodded. "I know that you guys are going to hate hearing this but... You guys are going to go live with your father in Kentucky" I gasped. "What. This is bull crap" I said yelling at her "I will not go live with that guy who left and never called. Heck I don't even know what his name is.... even though we have has last name"
