Percy has always been a happy person. He has great friends and an amazing mom. He might not be the most popular or have the best grades, but that doesn't matter. Or so that's what everyone else thinks. His home life isn't that great, he has a nasty stepfather named Gabe who is always drunk and an overall bad person. But he can't let any of his friends know about this in fear they will think he's weak. Annabeth has just moved to New York. In her old school she was portrayed as the peppy cheerleader and the most popular girl. Her life seemed perfect. But Annabeth truly didn't want that life. She loved to wear baggy clothes and listen to music. Her greatest love was reading and learning about architecture, so a new school was a good chance for a fresh start. What will happen when she moves next door to someone who would change her life forever? Join Annabeth and Percy as they struggle with their image as well as their home life.
