Description
Brielle's determined to make it home to her family where she knows they can be safe and survive; however, in apocalyptic times the challenges increase day by day. It wasn't just the walking dead she had to fear, but other dangers that lurked around every corner. When Brielle thinks she has a grasp on survival, she encounters a man who changes the game completely. Daryl lost his group several days ago and ended up roaming Georgia with a group of men who he would rather not be with, but during the end of the world, survival is key. He was about to lose what little hope he had left when a woman crossed his path and changed his way of thinking and feeling. --- Daryl nodded and pulled away from Brielle. He couldn't look her in the eyes. "Thanks for rescuing me again," she said and grabbed his face so he would look at her in the eyes. "Thanks for rescuing me," he whispered. Brielle cried and put her lips on Daryl's tasting his and her tears mix in their kiss. Brielle pulled away again knowing Daryl wouldn't do it.
