Whether or not English is your first language, a writer always makes a few mistakes. These, of course, can always be fixed. However, when it's just you reading your work over and over before you finally hit 'Publish', your mind tends to skip over a few mistakes that somehow make its way into the published copy. That's why a fresh set of eyes always helps.
