As it becomes increasingly clear that the design and usability of a company's web offerings are crucial to the outcome, the demand for talented web designers across all sectors will continue to grow feverishly. According to BLS, the employment of qualified web designers is expected to increase between 2018 and 2028 by 13 percent, above the average salary of five percent. In its latest Occupational Outlook Handbook, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics notes that employment of web developers, including the larger category of web designers, is expected to grow by 13% by 2026, faster than the average for all occupations.
