Prologue

"He has brain cancer. Semi-severe. Has about three months left" Michael overheard the doctors but he didn't think much of it as he looked at the pale boy in the hospital gown, all tucked in covers. It was his first day of volunteer work; keep the patient happy. He noticed parts of the boys hair were missing and he frowned a little.
