Loki's army successfully overtook New York City and forced the Avengers into hiding in 2012. Scarlett Strange, the daughter of Stephen Strange, stayed behind to help injured civilians. After being taken by a group of Loki's soldiers trying to force her to work as his doctor, she finds herself clashing with the God of Mischief himself.

Having caught Loki's attention, Scarlett finds the fate of New York (and possibly the rest of the world) in her hands after she and a group of rebels hatch a plan entirely dependent on her making Loki fall for her. Will Scarlett keep her task in mind, or will she get lost in the game of love? Well, love is for fools - or so she thought.
