Brief overview: Introduction to a voiceless girl in a small, odd city. Description: Madelyn was always a quiet kid, but eventually her carelessness gets her in trouble and she is forced to always be quiet. Some think it was punishment, others say it was an accident. Madelyn knows otherwise. Further detail on the writing and genre: This is a fictional sci-fi story written as practice for a much larger project I have already begun. All feedback is welcomed and appreciated as this story only focuses on one character. Others may be written, but this one is so I can build foundational skills on writing meaningful dialogue, symbolism, good scenarios, and learn to drive a plot forward without too much filler.
