Alek Monte is the dreamlike, charismatic guy that everyone talks about at school. He lives an ideal, glamorous life as depicted by others. He unconsciously steals every girl's heart, with one of them being the sweet and gentle Kiara Laverde, who thinks she'll never stand a chance. Because why would a perfect guy like him see her more than just his best friend's little sister? But that was until a renowned tragedy happened, and Alek's once enthusiastic heart suddenly shifted into jet black. Driven by guilt and anguish, he was ready to permanently close his doors shut from everyone, but Kiara's obstinating determination to unravel him actually hauled a little string from his heart.
