Recognize

Remi sensed a set of eyes on her. It was the first time she met Jahari, in her Sophomore year of high school. She falls for him, commits herself to him, and is sooner or later deceived by him. It is never "just about sex". They reunite years later at the same college, and she is dragged by her weaknesses that attempts to destabilize her seemly optimal lifestyle. Jahari's touch is all too familiar, even if she has a new life and a new boyfriend. Everything is destined to get messy and be left in shambles. He is the last thing she wants in her life.
