"This is our little charade game remember?" She nodded and watched as he walked away-her heart tore a little because she knows he'll never care, it's only business. If Ethan Hawk, New York's best attorney wants something he gets it. He invites Nova to play his girlfriend but he never expected a crazy trail with a savage donkey, a kiss almost drowning him and having to save his client's company from a takeover.

Nova needs to save her bakery, but for that, she need Ethan Hawk, and he needs her to play the part. It's a catch 22 when things go a little wrong in a week's time and Ethan doesn't know which way out.
