Brief: Elizabeth Hastings 18 year old dropped out of school and works a part time job at KFC in a suburb in Newcastle, Australia. She has a younger sister and two alcoholic and workaholic parents. Lizzy also has 3 really close friends but she wanted a fresh start....ever since she was 15. (Family issues and drug abuse mentions!!!!) After 3 years of heavy saving and preparing she was able to secure a small job in London at a cafe with the sweetest widowed old man for the owner. He wanted to be apart of her fresh start. She also managed to get enough money to start renting out a, cozy, you might say, apartment not too far from the cafe.
