Everything comes at a price in this world... Nothing is ever free. Valkyrie Hargreaves has to learn all about life or death choices at the new school she is now going to. Being a human in a magic school puts a lot of pressure on her. She was born into a magic family, but being unlucky she received no magic. After 'Val' finds out she is on a team, with a person she does not particularly like, she finds out the bad news he is her new squad captain. She has to deal with the harsh pranks, rude remarks, and suffering Zuko Wisteria causing to her. But little does Val know that something bigger is going to happen...some a lot bigger.
