Odessa A. Koch, a young lady with the desire to make all equal, takes it upon herself to make the first step by befriending someone not of her kind. Only, they don't want to be particularly nice to her.

Everyone knew that the rich and wealthy stuck together and it would only heighten the situation if they were of colour. Not for Odessa no. Lies begin to stack up and places unfit for any lady becomes home to her. Very much unlike any young lady her age, Odessa knows what she wants: equality. Or is it excitement?
