Ah, how cruel of a god to gift a mortal the ability to live forever. How cruel to make them watch as time passes and leaves them behind. How cruel to make them live in a world that slips through their fingers like sand in an hourglass. An immortal man in a mortal world, desperately clinging to what he can.
