The three perfect words to describe Adrian Wood, but to Hazel Stone, the words 'annoying', 'sinner' and 'demon' should suffice. Her hatred for Adrian goes far beyond her very first memory of him as a child, however, when the boy himself returns after having gone away for three years, she finds herself falling deeper into this well of hatred, only to find herself lost.
