Description
Betty's perfect summer after high school is ruined when her enemy, August, is right next door. -- Betty goes to spend the summer after graduating high school with her aunt in a small town out in the country by the lakes. She expected the usual, a summer job by day at the yogurt shop, afternoons gardening with her aunt, and evenings sipping sweet tea on the lake pier, all to leave behind the petty drama of high school before college. But the new girl in the cabin next door is August, the girl Betty hates more than anything, the girl who stole her boyfriend, James, almost a year ago. Though neither of them are with James now, Betty can never forgive August. But the more time they're forced to spend together, the more Betty begins to remember a little girl she used to play on the swings with as a child-and the more she realizes why James fell in love with August, the more she falls for August too.
