When a mission led by Steve Rogers goes awry, seventeen-year-old Kaitlyn Summers is caught in the middle when a disagreement involving government oversight of the Avengers in future missions divides the team. It is up to Kaitlyn to decide which side she chooses. Will she join Steve Rogers' side who believes that heroes should be free without government interference or will she join Tony Stark's side who openly supports the reliance of the government? Bonds will be broken and the trust she once shared with the Avengers will be severed. Will the team ever be the same again?
